EMERGE Youth “New Year, New Stress” Infographic Now Available

A new English-language infographic has been published as part of the EMERGE Youth project, offering practical advice to help young people cope with the stress and pressure that often accompany the beginning of a new year.
The infographic highlights that a new year often brings exciting opportunities, but also higher expectations, ambitious goals, and the feeling that everything has to be perfect from the very start. It also points out how social media can increase this pressure by creating unrealistic expectations and comparisons.
To help young people manage these challenges, the infographic presents simple yet effective stress management strategies. It encourages breaking large goals into smaller, achievable steps, staying physically active through activities such as walking or stretching, and talking openly with friends, family members, or mentors when feeling overwhelmed. These practical habits can help reduce stress, improve well-being, and build resilience throughout the year.
The EMERGE Youth project aims to equip young people and youth workers with practical stress management skills that enable them to face change with confidence, support others effectively, and build a healthier, more resilient future in both their personal and professional lives.
