The BEHEALTH Erasmus+ project aims to enhance quality assurance in nursing education within Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Work-Based Learning (WBL) across Europe. Its objective is to develop an innovative, intelligent assessment and mentoring system that enables nursing education providers to meet European quality assurance standards while preparing highly qualified and competent nursing professionals.

Main Objectives:

  • Improving Quality Assurance – Developing modern quality assurance frameworks and methodologies to assess and continuously improve the quality of nursing education and training.
  • Developing 360-Degree Assessment Tools – Creating a comprehensive evaluation system that examines institutional performance from multiple perspectives, incorporating feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Creating an Intelligent Mentoring Platform – Designing a digital tool that supports educators, mentors, and institutional leaders in implementing and continuously improving quality assurance processes.
  • Strengthening the Culture of Self-Assessment – Promoting regular, objective, and sustainable self-evaluation practices within VET and WBL institutions to foster continuous quality improvement.
Expected Project Results:

  • Quality Assurance Framework specifically designed for nursing education within VET and WBL.
  • 360-Degree Assessment Toolkit integrating feedback from educators, learners, workplace mentors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • An Intelligent Mentoring Tool – a digital platform that supports institutional quality development and continuous improvement.
  • European Recommendations providing guidance for VET and Work-Based Learning institutions on implementing effective quality assurance systems.

The BEHEALTH Erasmus+ project is developing an innovative, intelligent quality assurance and mentoring systemthat will strengthen the quality of nursing education across Europe. By combining digital technologies, comprehensive evaluation methods, and continuous mentoring, the project contributes to the development of a healthcare workforce equipped with high professional standards, up-to-date knowledge, and strong practical competencies, all aligned with common European quality assurance principles.
