Project Objective

The project aimed to strengthen the innovation capacity of local small and micro-enterprises by adapting and further developing the InnoSupport training programme. Its primary objective was to provide businesses with practical knowledge and tools that would help them adapt to and grow within the post-crisis economic environment.

Competences Developed by the Project

The project focused on strengthening a broad range of managerial and innovation-related competences, including:

  • Developing leadership skills and management competences within SMEs.
  • Enhancing the knowledge of employees involved in innovation processes, particularly in the areas of creativity, initiative, problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making.
  • Increasing organisational flexibility to better respond to the challenges of the global labour market.
  • Supporting workplace learning and continuous professional development through practical training approaches.
  • Promoting the use of ICT tools in training activities to create flexible, collaborative, and learner-centred learning environments.

Project Outputs

The project produced a comprehensive set of learning resources, including:

  • an e-learning programme supporting local innovation,
  • a Trainer’s Handbook to assist professionals in delivering the training,
  • a practical toolkit for idea generation, creativity development, and quality management,
  • adapted InnoSupport learning modules tailored to the specific needs of local businesses,
  • a Knowledge Management module designed to improve internal knowledge sharing and organisational learning.

The project further developed several key learning modules, including:

Together, these resources provide SMEs with practical guidance for fostering innovation, improving organisational performance, and strengthening their long-term competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic business environment.
