The 4th Co-Memo-S project newsletter has been published, presenting the latest project results, the transnational partner meeting held in Romania, and the National Conferences organised across the partner countries.

The Co-Memo-S project aims to develop a comprehensive training programme for youth workers, empowering them to connect younger and older generations around the theme of sustainability by exploring, preserving, and sharing local socio-ecological memories and knowledge.

The project has developed a practical Handbook, a series of educational videos covering five key environmental topics – air pollution, water pollution, climate change, ecosystem exploitation, and greenhouse gas emissions – as well as an E-learning Platform and Virtual Archive containing socio-ecological memories. So far, 26 ecological memories have been collected, and everyone is invited to contribute their own stories and experiences to the project’s growing collection.

The newsletter also reports on the 4th transnational partner meeting, held in Romania in June 2026. The international partnership met to review the progress achieved so far, coordinate the remaining activities, and prepare for the successful completion of the project.

As one of the final and most important stages of Co-Memo-S, National Conferences were organised in each partner country. These events provided an opportunity to present the project’s objectives and results to a wider audience, promote networking and knowledge exchange, and gather valuable feedback from participants.

The conferences brought together youth workers, young people, teachers and educators, elderly people and carers, environmental experts, and representatives of relevant stakeholder organisations. Based on the feedback received, the National Conferences were successfully implemented across the partner countries.
