BEHEALTH Whitepaper on European Quality Assurance in Nursing Education Published
The BEHEALTH Erasmus+ project has published a comprehensive whitepaper presenting the current state of quality assurance in nursing vocational education across Europe, together with the project’s key achievements and development results.
As a first step, the international partnership mapped the quality assurance systems and standards used in the participating countries. Based on the findings, the partners developed a common quality assessment framework that enables nursing VET providers to evaluate the quality of their educational activities.
The project also developed an online mentoring and self-assessment tool that allows quality assurance professionals to:
- evaluate their institution’s educational practices;
- benchmark their performance against European quality standards;
- identify areas requiring further improvement;
- receive practical guidance for enhancing the quality of education.
